Main fields of activities. The University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine is a higher educational establishment which provides research, teaching and training activities and implement corporate social responsibility concept in its activity. The University of banking is a unique, specialized institution which offers qualitative economic education and prepares specialists for the National Bank of Ukraine, commercial banks and other financial establishments.
The University of banking of the National Bank of Ukraine was established on the base of Lviv Institute of banking, Kharkiv Institute of banking and Cherkasy Institute of banking as well as Institute of Master Preparation and

Postgraduate Education (Kyiv). The University trains specialists in the field of “Economics and Entrepreneurship” at the educational-qualification level of Bachelor (specialities “Finances and Credit”, “Accounting and Audit”, “Economic Cybernetics”, “Human Resources Management and Labor Economics”) and Master (specialities “Banking”, “Finances”, “Accounting and Audit”, “Economic Cybernetics”, “Human Resources Management and Labor Economics”), provides doctorate studies and habilitation. PhD studies are represented by specialities “Money, Finances and Credit”, “Accounting and Audit”, “Mathematical Methods, Models and Information Technologies in Economics”.
Information about the intended project. We look forward to sharing experiences, developing new research tools and methods, improving the learning process by new technologies, establishing academic exchanges and developing a long-term basis for cooperation as well as to developing new Master and PhD programmes, developing of academic mobility and implementing new curriculum.
Project proposal/description. We are ready to develop and submit joint projects within KA1, KA2, Jean Monnet Programme and other areas. Especially we are looking for partners to develop projects related to the development of joint master’s programs, modernization and adaptation of curricula, mobility of individuals in the field of education and training.
Previous international experience. The University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine cooperates in the field of education, science and culture with about 50 foreign educational and financial institutions in more than 20 countries of Europe, Asia and America including National Bank of Poland, Bank PKO BP SA (Warsaw, Poland), Hochschule der Deutschen Bundesbank – University of Applied Sciences (Hachenburg, Germany), University of Warsaw (Poland), the University of St.Gallen (Switzerland), University of Bologna (Italy), University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovak republic), Banking Institute (Prague, Czech Republic), and others.
The University of banking of the National Bank of Ukraine is a member of Magna Charta Universitatum (Italy), International Association of Universities (France), Black Sea Universities Network (Romania), International University Association (Spain), United Nations Global Compact (USA), Child and Youth Finance International (Netherlands), Aflatoun (Netherlands).
The University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine has successful experience of long-term cooperation with Cracow University of Economics, Wroclaw University of Economics, University of Latvia (Riga), Vilnius University, Bronisław Markiewicz State Higher School of Technology and Economics in Jarosław and others within the following areas: student exchange, staff exchange, exchange of scientific and didactic materials, joint research and educational projects, cooperation within the framework of European Union and other institutions programmes.
Double-degree programs. The University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine have signed Double Degree Agreements with Graduate School of Management in Barcelona (Spain) on International Business and Marketing, Mykolas Romeris University (Vilnius, Lithuania) on Financial Markets, FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management (Essen, Germany) on MBA programme of Business Administration, Cracow University of Economics (Poland) on Banking, Baltic International Academy (Latvia) on Business Management and Administration and Swiss Montreux Business School (Switzerland).
